ITAM-The Econometric Society Latin American Workshop

The Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) is organizing a Workshop on Labor Markets and Informality in Mexico City, on September the 26th. This workshop is sponsored by the Latin American Chapter of the Econometric Society. The goal is to bring together economists from inside and outside the region to discuss issues related with the work of labor markets in emerging economies and its macroeconomic implications, with a special emphasis on the role of the informal sector.

We expect to have an exciting scientific program with around six papers and discussions. Jim Albrecht and Susan Vroman, from Georgetown University, have kindly accepted to participate in the Workshop.
